Hymns Accompaniment Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use these recordings for a congregation in a church service?
A: That's what these are for. Each song starts with a last-line type of introduction then plays through all the verses. Most of these hymns have four verses, some less and some more. The audio music is specifically piano and/or organ accompaniment played by a church pianist and/or organist so that you can sing hymns in church as though you had someone playing for you. There are no voices on the recordings.
Q: Should I choose high or low keys?
A: It depends on the general overall voice range of your congregation. The high keys are most common in hymnals for congregational singing but can sometimes be difficult for our seniors. The low keys can be more comfortable for them. But don't worry. Should you order the wrong range, just let us know and we'll replace it with the right range at no extra charge.
Q: How many verses does each hymn have?
A: It varies, but most have four verses. Each of our product descriptions show the titles, keys and number of verses.
Q: Can I listen to audio samples before buying?
A: Yes! Each item description on our website lists the titles, keys, number of verses and play-buttons that look like this: . Click the buttons in the item descriptions. Make sure your sound is turned on.
Q: Are these hymns compatible with our hymnal?
A: We believe so, although we haven't personally checked every published hymnal. That would be quite the undertaking. We have never been told by any of our customers that they are not compatible with their hymnal. Our hymns were not taken from a specific hymnal, but are the same songs, arrangements in keys found in most hymnals including Baptist, Celebration and many others. There may be some minor differences here or there, but your church should be able to sing with your hymnal using our accompaniment. But don't worry. If it doesn't work out for you as you'd hoped, certainly return your order within 30 days and we will kindly issue a full refund without a hassle.
Q: Can I download the MP3 files right to my iPad/iPhone?
A: Our download files are .zip files, which is a Windows PC compressed file. Apple devices don't recognize .zip so you won't be able to open/extract them without an app such as iZip or Goodreader. Those are free apps you can download from the Apple store and then you can download and extract them to access the MP3 files on your iPad/iPhone.
