Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions & Helpful Answers
We want you to feel completely comfortable using our music. Here is some helpful information about our recordings, how the technology works, and how we can best serve your church.
Music & Style
What is the "Hymnal Style"?
Our recordings follow the hymnal exactly. We provide a clear "last-line" introduction so everyone knows when to start, followed by every verse found in the standard hymnal.
Are there vocals on the tracks?
No, these are strictly instrumental (Piano, Organ, or Duet). They are designed to support and lead the voices of your congregation.
High vs. Low Keys?
We recommend listening to the samples on our Hymn Index. Generally, "Low" keys are wonderful for congregations that prefer a more comfortable, lower singing range.
Technology & Compatibility
Using a Yamaha Clavinova?
Many modern Clavinovas support MP3s. If you let us know in the "comments" at checkout that you're using one, we’ll happily organize your thumb drive specifically for your piano before we ship it.
Tablets & Phones?
Yes! Our downloads work perfectly on any mobile device. For iPad/iPhone users, we suggest the free iZip app to easily open your hymn folders.
Church Sound Systems?
Our USB drives can be played through a computer hooked up to a sound system. We recommend that you save the music to your computer first and play those files. Store the USB drive as a backup.
Usage & Permissions
Can we use these for Live Streaming?
Yes, absolutely. You have our full permission to use these recordings in your services on YouTube, Facebook, or your church website.
What about Copyright fees?
Because we record hymns that are in the Public Domain, you don’t have to worry about licensing fees or copyright "strikes" when using our music.
Can I share these recordings?
We ask that purchased recordings remain with your specific ministry. This helps us continue to provide these resources for churches everywhere.
